Wow! "Black" copies

Acabo de encontrar esta entrada en el blog de Flux, la editorial que sacará "Black is for Beginnings". Es una pasada ver todas esas cajas y pensar y contienen copias del cómic!

I just found this entry on Flux's blog, the publisher for "Black is for Beginnings". It's incredible to think that all those boxes contain copies of the comic!

LOOK! They're heeeere!

Flux is extremely excited for its first ever full-length graphic novel and the continuation of our #1 bestselling series. Pictured below, you can see the enormous shipment of finished copies that arrived in-house today. From left to right, our publisher, Bill Krause, Art Director Lynne Menturweck and publicist Marissa Pederson made sure to give the historic arrival a warm welcome!

Oootra versión diferente de la misma ilustración. Y es que tenía la tinta escaneada, tiempo libre y el programita "Art Rage" por ahí, y tenía que probarlo.
Creo que ha quedado... bien, en general, aunque me parece más frio que lo pintado a mano. Fue entretenido hacerlo, aunque tardé muuuuucho más que pintando tradicionalmente. No será nada para hacer regularmente, pero de vez en cuando puede estar bien variar un poco.

Y nada de fondo porque ahí no me salía nada decente con el programa. XD

Aaanother version of the same illustration. I had the lineart scanned, free time on my hands and this program called "Art Rage" recently installed, so I just had to try it.

I think it turned out... rather nice, really, though I think it lacks the warmth traditional pieces have. It was fun to do this, but it took me muuuuch longer than painting by hand. It won't be a thing to do on a regular basis, but I might use it now and then for a change.

And no background because I wasn't able to do anything decent with that program. XD
